HOW TO PREPARE A
GOOD COFFEE
Our recommendations to prepare a good coffee.
The coffee:
The coffee must be fresh (max. 30 days) and of a high quality to give a delicious cup.
Inventory management is very important, first in first out (FIFO).
The coffee grind must be exact for the type of preparation to be made.
Coffee should never be reheated.
The storage of coffee is very important, it must be kept at room temperature, a place with low humidity and free of toxic substances or strong odors.
Never serve a coffee that has not finished its extraction process.
The ideal relationship between coffee and water. (10 gr coffee * 180 ml water)
Water:
The water must reach the ideal temperature to be able to carry out the adequate extraction. (85ºC to 95ºC)
The water must be of a high quality to give a delicious cup.
We recommend using Pura Vida Salvavidas.
The Maintenance:
Without properly adjusted and calibrated equipment we cannot prepare a good cup of coffee. (Min. 4 times a year).
The cleanliness of the equipment and the work area is essential to ensure good quality.
There should be no ups and downs in the electricity supply for the machines
